Question: Dodge charger?
Will a dodge charger with under 100k miles, year 2005-2007 be under 6000$ in 2-2.5 years?
Right now i found a 2006 with 29k miles on it in good cond. and it was 11,000$, Will the value go down with the new 08 charger and the new challenger?

Answer: It doesn't matter that the new challlenger is coming out... the older it gets the more the value is going to go down. If it's worth 11 now.. it may be around 6 in 2.5 years

Question: Dodge Charger?
Are 1969 Dodge Carger RTs good cars??

Answer: I love mine. I bought in 1990 (20 years after I fell in love with it) and have nothing be loads of fun with it. I can watch the gas needle drop when I drop the gas pedal.

B5 Blue, black vinyl roof, 440/727 auto, 3:55 rear with mag 500 wheels. Can't take it out unless I have plenty of extra time to talk to people about it.

Question: Dodge charger?
i just got a dodge charger base 2.7 model which i regret getting now i should have went w/ the rt cuz im used to the way my tc used to take off .....even though i really like the car what can i do to give it little bit more horse power that wouldn't hurt my pockets??????????

Answer: there's not a lot that you can do for the 2.7 engine to boost the power of it a lot,it will pretty much run like it is but if you modify those sometimes its hurts the running of them rather than help it,really not much you can do to help that one, good luck.

Question: Dodge Charger?
I found a 72' Dodge Charger for $3000 and i can do a lot of work myself on it. What is it worth when it is all fixed up?

Answer: As a Muscle car collector I can tell you that True documented muscle cars are bringing high dollars, they are bringing in premium prices. The muscle cars I buy and sell are worth between $150'000 and $350'000. Who said they are not at a premium. In fact, I just sold my very rare Yenko Chevelle because the prices are so good. Here's the hitch, most people can't or won't lay out that much for an original that they probably shouldn't drive. So the next best thing is to build a clone. How do you clone? You get a cheap version of the car you like and build it up as a tribute to a high dollar Muscle car. Now, you have something cool and something you can drive. Clone car prices are on the rise which makes the originals even worth more to collectors. Now, I am assuming yours is a plain Jane type. Production numbers run like this: 2dr cpe 7'803, 2dr ht 45'361, 2dr SE ht 22'430. The highest hp engine was the 440 and was rated @ 280 hp. Nothing there to attract many collectors, thus lowering the value to them. I know, for all you Mopar nuts out there, the 440 six-pack was offered in the brochure, but was canceled before initial production. I need more info as to what might be special about your particular car. Is it a Rallye? 440? How many original miles? I will give you the high, low and middle ground. If you clone something cool or turn it into a street rod, you could catch the right crowd and it could sell for up to 3 times the restored value. Restored, with the limited info you gave us to go on.... Assuming that you took everything apart and did it right, Low is $10'000, high $16'000. Factory cars with 280 hp at the most just aren't anything that special when it come to collecting them. Unless there is something unique about them. Okay, if your car is one of the 7'803 2dr cpe, and has tons of options and was the right color and..... well you get the drift, then it might stand a chance of being a well sought after car in the future. My advice, have fun with it now, worry about the rest later. Forget the prices they quote you out of books. Look around your area of state. What are similar cars selling for. Look on line, look at auctions. DON'T take my word as gold, because you didn't give us very much info to go on. What's the most you would pay for a car from the 50's? $150'00? $250'00? Barrett Jackson Auction sold Howard Hugh's car for $1.5 million, because it was something special. So, do the research, break your Vin down, and your data plate, check out how rare it actually is, then you'll have a better idea.

Question: Dodge Charger?
Okay, would a 07 dodge charger r/t look good with 18 in chrome rims and the chameleon paint job?

Answer: The new Charger is gorgeous right off the show room floor. Putting 18's and chameleon paint will make it even hotter!

Question: Dodge Charger?
Does anyone drive a Dodge Charger?
What year is it, what do you like about it and what don't you like about it???

Answer: I assume youre talking about the new generation of Chargers..

they are amazing. They are based on the same platform (LX platform) as the Chrysler 300C (the most award-winning production car ever made). So yea they are good.

Make sure you get a R/T. ;-)

Question: Dodge charger blue headlights..?
I just bought a dodge charger the cheape on with the V6.
I was woundering is there anywhere were i could get blue headlights or even blue bulbs that are llegal..?. I talked around with some people including the guys from the dealership where i bought my car and they say most are illegal and they didn't know of any that could be fited on the charger.

Anyone know of any good web sites..?
Does anyone have them on there charger..?

I'm look for something that will make my car stand out im not looking for anything illegal or way way to bright when there on low beams.
Thanks

Answer: you would pretty much have to convert to xenon headlights, check on e-bay. but that set up I would think is pretty expensive. the blue bulbs dont last that long anyways unless you get the high dollar ones

Question: Does the Dodge Charger and the Dodge Caliber have bad blind spots?
My mom is letting me get a car this summer, and she is only going to let me get one if they don't have horrible blind spots. She is going to let me get either the Dodge Charger or the Caliber. Right now, she has a PT Cruiser, and it has the worst blind spots ever! Please give me the best info you can. I am leaning more towards the Dodge Charger!

Answer: for thos ethat like the pt cruiser...I say it is fine if they are enjoying that type of body style...but I believe it is dodges worse vehicle to be on the road...as for the charger ...it is possibly the best car for you out there ...it has an excellent safety rating(even car&driver magazine agrees)..but for a new driver it is a fun and easy car for all to drive..it is one of the best combinations of fun safety and ride and drive around...and as all vehicles may have blind spots....I believe you will find charger is even good to see rear ..side ..and front views for all...the rear glass is a little more slant view from rear view but is set to the ground right by thhe body to see very good all around...pt cruiser on the other hand is a driving hazard for operator as well as everyone else on road...even from front windshield it is rediculous they cause accidents...it reminds me of the earliest cars that you can barely see out of them enough to do anything but guess your distance to obsticles or other motorist..she should do you and us all a favor and trade it in and get you and her both a new dodge..they offer a big discount when doing this ..and you both will be happier and safer...good luck and hope you get charger...you will love it...

Question: 68-70 dodge charger body fits ???
I want to know if the 1968 to 1970 Dodge Charger body will fit any 80's or 90-'s model vehicles....I would love to have a Charger , but do not have the know how or tools for the upkeep or restoration of a 68-70 year vehicle....I would love to use the New Chargers, but they are still out of my price range...As far as I know the Charger has a 117" wheelbase....Any help appreciated.

I've seen it done with a '69 BODY I think onto a 2002 Dodge Charger Chassis/ interior etc...So exterior was 1969 and everything else was 2002 Dodge Charger...I have also seen old car/truck bodies put on older S-10 Chassis's or other car chassis's ..

Answer: saw the same show on TLC Rides that you did. The cost for that was $86,000.00. You said you can't afford a 69 or 2005,6,7 or 8.
I'm sorry but you would have to buy a new Charger and A 69 Charger. Your looking at 60grand right there. Then your going to cut up two real nice cars and spend over 150 grand in making a patch work car that mabe if your lucky you can get 25 grand for it. Subscribe to Mopar Muscle magazine. And learn how to build yourself a nice Charger on a shoe string budget,

Question: New 08 Dodge Charger Question...?
I am looking into buying an a brand new 08 Dodge Charger or Avenger. Anyone here have either one of these cars? Which one do you like more and why? I am a female and fairly young. Both of the cars appeal to me, however I like the Charger more because it has better room. But, the Avenger is front wheel drive while the Charger is rear drive which gets bad traction in snow and rain. Which car do you like more, and why? Thanks! =)

Answer: Well the charger is no cow it has alot of power but for a young girl i would reccomend the avenger because it is less expensive and is easier to drive.

Question: Dodge Charger or Ford Explorer Sport Trac?
I've been looking at some used cars lately, and I've narrowed my choices down to either a Dodge Charger or a Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with either of these cars or heard any reviews about them that I should be aware of before buying?

The main points I'm looking for are reasonable gas mileage, cabin space, storage space (interior or exterior)....and a little horsepower wouldn't hurt either.

**I'm in the 10k-15k price range if anyone has any other recommendations in this range.

Answer: avoid 06 V8 Charger

avoid the 07 V6 Sport Trac

both 08's are good.

I found the Ford's ride to be loose, when fully loaded with people it settles down but if you drive by yourself might need to put some weight in the bed.

the Charger is about the only Dodge that doesn't have terrible reliability ratings.

neither gets good mpg but they are big so that's part of the package.

make sure you get side curtain air bags with the Charger without them the crash test results are poor.

Question: Dodge charger wheel offset/spacer question?
----------------------------------------...

I have a 2006 dodge charger rt and a friend of mines upgrade to some 24's on his car, so he gave me his 20" wheels. The only problem the offset is 35mm on the wheels he gave me. i know the stock wheel offset is 24mm. There is a custom shop down the street from me that have a set of 12.5mm hub centric spacers for dirt cheap. The 12.5mm spacers would take the 35mm offset on the wheels down to 22.5mm. Would the 22.5mm offset be enough to clear the front wheel without hitting the control arm?

Answer: You are not changing the offset at all, you are spacing out the backspacing. How wide are these wheels, and what were they on before? Did they come off of another Charger, or a 300, or a PTcruiser? Do they have the same lug pattern? What is the backspacing stock, and what is it on these wheels? Check the manufacturers part number that is stamped inside the wheels and see what they were designed to fit. Ask the guys at the custom shop. try a test fit first and see if they hit without the spacers, if they do, then measure how far they need to go out to clear. If you can give us more information about the wheels we can try and help you out more.

Question: Dodge charger 07 S antenna.?
Well this might sound like a dumb question but im woundering where the antenna would be located in the 07 dodge charger 07?..I just got the sirius radio and i don't wanna put the antenna on the roof, 1. i dont wanna leave it there in fear that someone might rip it off, and 2. i dont wanna take it in and out everything i leave the car i did that a few times its a pain. A guy told me that if i put the antenna next to my cars antenna i should get the great signal. I'm sure the cars antenna is locted in the back winsheild, just not to sure. Oh and i had it on the dashboard but i lost the signal when i was in town.

Answer: the radio antenna is integral in the rear window. it is a grid just like the rear defroster.

Question: Dodge Charger, loose wire in glove box?
bought a dodge charger, a wire thats not connected to anything came in the glove box and no one knows whats it for including the dealer! go figure. There is a place in the glove box for one side of the wire to hook to but what about the other side of the wire? whats it for? it's a black wire

Answer: i have no idea, i had one of those in the shop today and didn't notice anything like that on it,maybe something they had hooked up that the took when they traded the car in,good luck with it.

Question: I wanted to know how to take off the dodge charger sxt emblem.. How can I go about taking it off without messing up my paint or leaving marks on the car from removing the 3.5 high output and sxt emblem on the back.. Please help

Answer: they are held on by two sided tape.use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat it up and just peel it off.the lefdtover residue comes off fairly easy and then wash the area or whole car.

Please help me find this beautiful car!!

Any year, any combo of version, like exp: R/T, or 500, or 500 R/T, or even lesser.
But please in the U.S.!!

I've looked ALL over the internet, everyday I check eBay, I can't find anything.

Question: Question about Dodge Charger V8 engine?
Does the civilian Dodge Charger V8 engine have a oil cooler, power steering cooler, and transmission cooler, like the "fleet" Dodge Charger V8 engine? And if not, can you order such things and have the factory or dealer install them? Or not? Because the engines are different? I would like to buy a civilian Dodge Charger with these items, if they are not already included, including the severe duty radiator system, if possible. I am not getting any clear answers from Dodge or the local dealer.

Answer: I know that chrysler sells a police package ask your dealer if he can order you a charger with a taxi package. It would have all the bells and whistles of the police package items you are looking for maybe short of the esc shutoff but you can purchase that from the aftermarket if you choose to.
